I
was listening to the sermon of a priest with care. I do not profess, but
respect. Sometimes I go to church for other reasons, I guess like many.
I'm
surprised to hear certain things, such as human-centered view of the universe.
It is a constant in many religions. I do not understand why this obsession.
Surely,
if there is a conscious creator God, all
life is important to him, so they were created. And these different forms of
life or "feelings" don’t need to be understood from one species to
another.
Religion
is a necessity and not a reality. It’s been men created (it's an opinion).
Women
and Men need a spiritual part to evolve mentally, that does not mean religiosity.
It is simply the recognition of the power of the brain in the interpretation of
existing and also incomprehensible, but affects us.
I
do not understand how in a society can coexist religious aspects with scientific theories. Or
the theory of evolution is OK or we can unplugg the brain and learn the
offspring of Adam and Eve. It is inconsistent and manipulative. The interests
will trump intellectual dignity.
I
do not understand why the biblical texts are given by indisputable.
The
transcripts after many years of events, the mentality of the time, the
prevailing culture (ignorance), and bias, make it almost impossible a faithful
transcription without doubting the strength of what after all these years still
needed to be explained.
The
priest commented that we come from All and return to All. In this expression, I
do believe, though not Catholic philosophy of the matter.
We
are part of the universe, yes. After our bodily death we come back part of the
whole Universe. Not clear to me that we come chosen in some way and unless we
have a "target" in the world. What we have is the ability to use it,
since we're here.
Any
living being is as important as humans. If there is a place where minds of
beings who have lived are temporarily or definitively (sky) is not a VIP place but
RIP site.
The
unquestionable loyalty of a dog, the helplessness of a plant, a bird struggle
to survive and care for their offspring, is invaluable level of Life.
The
unique essence that remains forever is energy. No idea what shapes and
consciousness is possible. But there isn’t a creator in our image, we have not
a private heaven.
We
are not so important. Rather harmful for Life. We lack humility, a lot.
